Thank you to our wonderful friend
,Tina Neel, for making Garrett possible for us. She entrusted her
very special,
Payton,
to us so this litter would be possible.
Garrett is bred from nearly all
champion show lines in the first four generations of his lineage.
All lines are from Australian lineage. We're so proud to have him
and know he'll be a force to contend with in the show ring.
There is a story behind Garrett's
name. When Garrett and his litter were 1 week old, our home
caught on fire. They were under my desk and I ran in to the burning house to save
their dam, Payton, and the litter. All were fine and other than
having to get use to life without air conditioning they were just
fine. Our home burned to the ground and we lost everything.
Well, I wanted a name for my pup
that would have something to do with the fire . As it turned out,
his call name came about because of some very dear friends of ours,
The Garrett Family, have gone above and beyond the call of duty in
helping us through this tough time. So the decision came about to
name him Garrett. His registered name came partly from his
sires name and then we added the 'heat' part.

Garrett - dog show
news
Showing a border collie in
conformation and being any other color than black & white can be
difficult. Many judges simply don't give other colored border
collies the same attention as the traditional black & white.
Garrett is doing well considering his young age and being a
different color. We are truly proud of him. He loves the dog shows
with many new faces to meet and getting so much attention, which he
thrives on! Watch for Garrett in Spring 2012 shows.
