Shipping Information

 We ship by air out of the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport ( DFW ).

Shipping costs $ 300.00. Shipping charges must be prepaid 2 days prior to time of shipping.

Important fact to consider if flying to collect your pup:

The airlines will tell you you may bring your pet into the cabin and they can ride with you. This is true for toy breeds, NOT border collie puppies, who at 8 weeks of age are already too large to fit in a 9" space, ( including the crate ), under the seat. So even if you fly in to pick up your puppy, it will still be shipped down below just as if I shipped the pup without you on the plane.  If you you contact the airlines to ask for yourself, be sure to tell them the pup will be about 10 pounds at 8 weeks of age and will need to fit in a size 100 crate. They should tell you it won't be possible to ship the pup inside the cabin with you.

Is it mean to ship a puppy???

Shipping your puppy isn't mean at all and not anymore stressful than the car ride home, if the pup is trained to accept rides and has been introduced to the shipping crate prior to shipping. The pup rides in the pressurized area on the plane and most of the time they sleep during their plane ride. Air travel can be less stressful than a long car ride depending on the distance. We take our pups for car rides and get them introduced to being in a crate. This is all that is necessary to be able to ship your puppy. The pups are bathed before their flight. Nearly all  pups arrive still clean when they're collected at the airport.

We book the flight and take care of all the shipping details for you. We're experienced at shipping and have shipped domestically and internationally successfully. We'll book the flight that is best for the puppy and try to obtain a direct flight when possible.  The pups we have shipped have been well cared for by the airline personnel.

Of course, we love to meet our new puppy owners in person. All are welcome to come retrieve their puppy in person. This is by appointment only.
